Maya trained as a performer in both dance and theatre in Greece. After five years as a successful actress, she relocated to London where she trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

She currently works both as an actor and dancer, in traditional and site-specific theatre spaces as well on the London Burlesque scene.

She has worked with standnotamazed since its inception and performs as one of its lead Cabaret performers.

Maya has also recently undertaken the role of Associate Director, overseeing various practical aspects of the company's growth, as well as focusing specifically on its theatrical development.
